Just had the pleasure of around 40-50 waxwings in my depot this morning at 10am, they didn't mind me watching from a few metres away!

Burradon, just near killingworth ;-)

Today in Asda Carpark Metro Centre approx 100 Waxwing.
At Blaydon 30 Waxwings.

A small flock of about 60 in trees opposite the entrance to Gosforth Business Park (Salters Lane) yesterday and a flock of about 300 reported to be at West Allotment - Buddle Terrace....
