I saw this bird today in Meydan South, Dubai but can’t identify it. Any suggestions?

I’m a keen bird photographer, though my camera is a limiting factor as I have a point and shoot digital. I’m mostly photographing birds in Australia, with a favourite being the yellow tailed black cockatoo which occasionally visits my garden.

Thanks for the confirmation. My daughter had told me the female was quite different so I wasn’t sure. Eventually, I found a picture which was close enough to think it might be the female.
