I heard this bird calling, the sound seemed to move a short distance back & forth but we didn't see anything flying . Probably behind all the leaves, In Colonal Danforth Park, Scarbrough Ontario Aug 12/21, I just kept the sound part of clip. I wouldn't begin to guess who to listen too, Thought at first cardinal, Hubby thought Carolina wren since they throw their voices

The only thing I know about bird sounds is that there are three kinds of sounds: ground enemy, ait enemy and pairing sound.

Nice recording! This is indeed a Carolina Wren call, perhaps a mild alarm in my experience but it's hard to tell what they're thinking.
