Polaris Optics has changed their branding and name to Wingspan Optics last spring.
https://wingspanoptics.com/
They appear to be a rebranding seller that markets primarily to the birding community. This may be an option for some members who expressed a desire not to buy from companies that also marketed to the hunting communities.
I don't know much about them under either name and have not purchased any of their products. I came across them when on the Bird Watcher's Digest site where there is a give-away for one of their binoculars. Deadline Oct. 31, 2017

They put out a frequent blog that has some interesting birding articles. Here is the main Blog page .....

The first blog entry discusses the renaming ......

Here is an article with some additional information .......

Here is their YouTube channel with only one video to date. Unfortunately the presenter does not introduce himself.

Here is a short Forum thread on them when they were Polaris .......

The web site is somewhat confusing for finding the products. Clicking on just the "Binoculars" tab does not show all models. One needs to view each of the categories.
Their double hinge model looks to be a variation of the Zen-Ray ED3 and the Bushnell Legend M, but at a lower price. The ZR and Bushnell have di-electric coated prisms but the site does not say what the coating is on the Wings. I not sure what the relationships are for the other models.
Note:
If there is a desire to discuss the ethics of binocular companies selling to the hunting market, then here is an already existing thread set up by the Forum administration to discuss that normally taboo topic. The intention of this thread is for comments related to Wngspan Optics. Thanks.
