Woodworm beetle? (1 Viewer)

If any beetle sleuths could help me to identify this beetle I'd be really grateful. I have found several crawling close to windows and am concerned it could be the woodworm beetle. I am sorry it is a bit squashed, it was really fast I was trying to take a photo then take it outside but it went wrongbug.jpg. I am in the UK if that helps with identifications.

How big was it? The photo does not give any guidance.
Still, it does not look like the remains of a woodworm beetle to me, the thorax shape is different.
