Yellow-legged gull - Sesimbra (Portugal) (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I photographed this gull yesterday (04/08/2022) at the fishing port of Sesimbra (Portugal). This was one among hundreds of yellow-legged gulls and a few lesser black-backed gulls. What caught my attention was the presence of an orange stain on the beak and legs that were neither yellow nor pink. Is this a yellow-legged gull?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
