young spotless starling ? Portugal (1 Viewer)

not totally sure about this bird, but to me it looks like a young starling, and given the time of the year (end of August) and location (Vila Real in Portugal) I would think spotless starling to be more likely than common starling - am I close or way off ?

I think it's a song thrush. I believe (e.g.) the bill shape is wrong for starling
