Zeiss Victory 7x42 FL with LT or the Victory 8x42 HT? (1 Viewer)

Yes, obviously the same thoughts, and it was actually your 56's that I bought from Ace.
Great optics.... just superb.
Overall I am more happy with the HT's.... very content. (y)
Think I've only just seen your post — been off forum and not really done any nature viewing either for a few months. Glad you love the 56s; I really didn't want to part with them but every time I used them I wasn't getting the best out of them unless I could find somewhere to prop my arms or to lean against, so it made sense to admit defeat and pass them on to a better home. I originally bought them online from a shooting shop in Germany. Zeiss AK glass all seems to be wonderful for those of us who don't seem to be affected by the edge fall-off. I am also still enjoying very much my final version SLC 8 & 10x42s; a bit warmer colour than the ELs (I like both effects) and with a less field-flattened view.

Tom, in addition to your post/question in another tread today about FL 10x32. Besides a Leica Trinovid BN 10x32 i also got myself a crispy Zeiss FL 8x56.
