Central America
Gulf slope of southern Mexico (Veracruz), through Guatemala, Belize, Honduras and Nicaragua ) to eastern Costa Rica
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Forest edges and semi-open areas at heights around 100–1200 m.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of nectar.
