Identification

Pale and sandy coloured with a white throat.

Distribution

Xinjiang (China) westwards to Turkmenistan and possibly into Iran.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies recognized:

Margelanica is sometimes split as Margelanic Whitethroat[1].
