Identification

ID

This is a Karoo Lark, eastern subspecies.

Neither Karoo Lark or Karoo Longbilled Lark are recorded for the Kgalagadi Park, to the best of my knowledge. I suspect a locality further south. Sandy habitat is typical for Karoo Lark, but atypical for Karoo Longbilled.
