Distribution

South-east Asia: found in Cambodia and Thailand.

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 3 subspecies[1]:

  • A. c. diversa: Siamese Partridge
  • Tropical forests of south-eastern Thailand
  • A. c. cambodiana:
  • Tropical forests of south-western Cambodia
  • A. c. chandamonyi:
  • South-western Cambodia (Cardamom Mountains)

Diversa is sometimes regarded as a separate species Siamese Partridge[2].

Habitat

Moist montanes and lowland forests.
