Genus: Leioptila
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Rufous-backed Sibia.
It has short rictal bristles, the song is not so high-pitched as with other Sibias and it's also less nectarivorous and its bill is less specialized.
Taxonomy
Leioptila is a genus in the Family Leiothrichidae.
It was formerly included in the family Timaliidae.
Some authorities keep all Sibias in one genus, Heterophasia.
