Distribution
Siberia to northern Mongolia and north-eastern China; winters to India and south-eastern Asia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Open forest with shrubs and coastal scrub. Winters in farmland, scrub and woodland edges.
