Distribution

Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, and Venezuela.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies are known, actiosus, and panamensis.

Habitat

Forests, mangrove forests, and shrubland, often in more open areas than other Myiarchus flycatchers.
