Asia: China, Tibet, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Eastern and Western Himalayas, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Hong Kong
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
Taxonomy

- Himalayas (Afghanistan to south-western China, Myanmar and northern India)

Habitat
Moist lowland forests and montanes.
