Overview
A national wildlife refuge near Sumner in north central Missouri that serves as a waystation for migrating birds, especially waterfowl.

Notable Species
American White Pelican are common from at least March-June (personal experience...probably there longer). Best views are obtained by walking out on the mudflats. Plenty of open fields and forest as well.
