Eyebrowed Thrush in Norolk (1 Viewer)

Just a suggestion...Don't know how much balloon hire is these days?..don't know if current weather conditions/regulations would allow?...But if enough interested parties contributed to the ''Hunstanton round the houses at low level fund''. Then drawing lots..for the lucky few! (4-5 in a basket..dunno?) It might produce something...Hot Air?...perhaps matching this claim ;)

Go on Chaps, get the data off the pic.

No sure about you lot in Norfolk, but none of the trees in my garden have buds like those at the mo...

Couple previous tweets FYI:

@BirdGuides 5 people have seen the bird.3 of them are birders including myself, and the owner and his wife.I am not Norfolk birder

@BirdGuides I come from Lincolnshire

Isn't Lincs home to the Short-toed Eagle hoaxer?

Just relaying info - I am not prejudging the record :t:

Cheers,

Jonny

Got down to page 70 on Google Images and couldnt find one that matched. However the bird was not meant to have been seen today so why is today's date on the ExiF?

Remember the Dusky Thrush from Manchester, similar situation?

Birdwatchers cause Twitter to crash, more here-http://timsbirding.blogspot.com/2011/11/twitter.html

Not especially: that bird was reported to the county recorder by someone giving their name, and willing to provide details (e.g. their address!) for verification. Maybe all of this will come to light in due course related to this record, but somehow I doubt it.

Sorry to disappoint you Morg but it ain't me :)

First eliminate all the birders on this list who are well known responsible birders, then when most have been whittled down, the others could maybe reply justifying why they are not the hoaxer. think Norgate is top of the list with the innocent ' I'm going to be looking for this bird' yarn but he admitted to me personally the other day he has no morals, proper X Files this - everyone's a suspect.
