Other Wildlife

Mammals

Researchers have recorded at least 91 mammal species in the park (22 bats and 69 others; see refs [1], [2]). Ten species are introduced: these include (European) Brown Hare (Lepus europaeus), Common Marmoset (Callithrix jacchus), and Black-tufted Marmoset (Callithrix penicillata) [3]. Other primates include: Black Capuchin (Sapajus nigritus), Black-Fronted Titi Monkey (Callicebus nigrifrons), Northern Muriqui (Brachyteles hypoxanthus), Buffy-Tufted Marmoset (Callithrix aurita), and (Southern) Brown Howler (Alouatta guariba)
