    PhraseExpress playing up

There was an update recently and when it had done there was no icon in the Task Bar (you know, the one to the right where the volume control is). Eventually I found it in the Hidden Icons. Previously I've been able to move things in and out of there onto or off the Task Bar, but none of the...

    What waders... awful pic

I took this at Ocean Beach, Western Australia in November 2019. Pretty sure the two wee ones on the right are Red-necked Stint and Red-capped Dotterel, but the two on the left, think one is a Ruddy Turnstone, but just can't work out the other. Any ideas? A very distant image, I've only cropped...

    Raptor encounter, North-eastern Perthshire

Sorry, no photograph. This afternoon I was driving in the hills to the north of Blairgowrie, when suddenly a raptor flew from a branch to another at the side of the road. It was such a surprise, but I found myself muttering... that was huge! Then brushed it off thinking it was just a Buzzard...

    My bins need repair

The eye cup on my binoculars became a bit loose a couple of months ago and wouldn't screw right down, just went round and round. Now it has become completely detached. I've tried pushing it on, but it won't go. Completely unusable now, sadly. Will they have to go away for repair - and where to?
