Nikon FSA 1/2/3 for Nikon DS/MC eyepieces and A590IS

I have a Nikon 16x/24x/30x Wide DS eyepiece and a 13-40 MCII zoom eyepiece. Since I have a straight scope and would like perfect allignment I would rather not have a swing away adapter. Does anyone know: 1) Can the FSA-3 connect directly to the Nikon DS eyepieces? 2) Does the FSA-3 have a 43mm...

Digiscoping with Nikon ED50 which eyepieces are suitable

I have a Canon A590IS and am thinking of buying an Nikon ED50 for digiscoping and general use. I realise the best eyepiece for digiscoping would be the 16x DS but how do the others perform? My understanding is that the DS (digiscoping) range of eyepieces are designed for digiscoping...

Decent Binoculars for an affordable price, a weighty issue

It's been a while since my last thread. when I was deciding whether to get Opticron Imagic TGAs or Viking Vistrons. Since that post I bought some second hand 8 x 42 WA Opticron Countryman (Porro). I was particularly impressed with its FOV (143m),its brightness and its price £60 2nd hand...

What is the haziness? and how do I get rid of it.

I bought a pair of second hand binoculars and when I look throught them there is a hazy image at the bottom left hand side. I have tried cleaning the lenses (outside only) and it doesn't seem to help. They seem very clean to the naked eye. Any idea what it is or how to get rid of it?

    Fixed OR Zoom eyepiece?

Hi, Are zoom eyepieces unreliable? My dad says they are. I don't know whether to believe him. He says he heard they break quickly. I prefer the Idea of a zoom eyepiece but don't want it to break. (I know this should probably be in a new thread but) what are peoples opinions on the opticron...
