Kidwely Quay Today - Curlew or Whimbrel? (1 Viewer)

No excuses today. I was on my own without the children. A quick look (ok permit me one;) )through the bins and I put this down as a curlew. Looking through the photos now and I'm doubting myself. Am I right to do so?

Any pointers as to why it is what it is would be much appreciated. The strength of the markings on the head are throwing me along with the length of the bill.

Any help appreciated,B :)

Rich

That's brilliant. Thanks Tom, WP and Chris. :t:I thought it was different to this one (nearer) taken on the other side of the Quay whilst looking through the pictures.
