Hi all, I am after a bit of advice, I purchased a Tamron 150-600 a few months ago and have been using it on my D7100, trouble is its too darn heavy for me to carry about, I was thinking of trading in for a sigma 150-500, I live near Coventry and if anyone knows of any dealers around my area that do trades,

Thanks
Steve

Do you mean its too heavy to carry round, i found the same so bought a black rapid sport strap, dont know its there most of the time now.
The 150-500 sigma always got mixed reports on quality and i have a feeling it may not work on any future cameras from nikon,so if you think you may want to upgrade the body at some point i would check the sigmas compatibility,i am not even sure it would work on my D7200.

According to the specs the weight difference between the two is 50 g.
Not sure if that is noticeable and will make a significant difference ......

As suggested a suitable carrying system will have a huge impact on carrying comfort .....
