3 more Algrave plants (1 Viewer)

The first is Cryptostemma calendula (L.) an introduced (possibly accidentally) exotic from South Africa occuring in all sandy soils especiall sand dunes down here.

The second is an asphodel Asphodelus ramosus L.

The third is more tricky - it bears a passing resemblance to the abundant Iberian endemic Knapweed Centaurea pullata but the bracts look wrong - Its certainly a Centaurea and I suspect its a dune specialist that we don't have here in the western Algarve - there are many local endemics in this genus - try trawling Flora ibérica if you have access to it.

EDIT
I misread your post and thought the 3rd photo was taken on sand dunes - now I'm pretty sure its Centaurea pullata L
