4 days in Singapore in March (1 Viewer)

It looks as if I will be going to Singapore for work in March and will have 4 days free at the end. Does anyone have any information about birding in Singapore, particularly by public transport or (if essential) taxi as I don't drive?

Some advice on the best, cheap place to stay would be great as I will have to change hotel once I finish the work as I can't pay the price of the hotel that work are putting me up in.

Any other useful info would also be appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Oli

I'm looking at going to Panti for a couple of nights in the time. Any advice on doing it without a car? How much will it cost to get there from Singapore?
