8x32 BA Aftermarket Case/Rainguard? (1 Viewer)

I recently found a secondhand pair of 8x32 BA for a nice price. They’re currently with Leica for a CLA, but I don’t have any accessories.

I’ve had good experiences with Lowepro for camera cases, but can anyone recommend a well fitting soft case of any brand that offers decent protection? Any thoughts on a rainguard?

Opticron for the guards.... always superb
Zeiss Conquest cases are also great, really well made and cheap, even brand new.
You can always remove the Zeiss logo carefully with a razor blade, if that bothers you, but they are well made, well padded, and close properly.
I keep a Zeiss bag in the bottom of my rucksack for when I want to drop my Meoptas in there occasionally, as the Meopta case doesnt offer much protection.

+ 1 on both the Opticron rain guard and Zeiss case.

You might give Leica a call and let them know you need a rain guard. Might be a freebee if they have one that fits.
Congrats on your acquisition.

I have to square up with Leica for the repair fees. Looks like I’ll have a bit more than $500 into them by the end (which feels decent given the refurb Leica is putting them through). While I have them on the phone, I’ll ask about rain guard/case, but I expect the cost of going aftermarket to be less.
