Hello everyone, my name is Frank and I live in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I am very new to birding, but nonetheless excited to learn much more about it. I am a career firefighter/paramedic and an avid photographer. My passion in photography is shooting sports action, but I am well on my way to being addicted to capturing the beauty of birds on film. I look forward to interacting within this community and hope to learn alot from all of you. ;)

Hi Frank. Welcome to BirdForum. :t:

It's good to have you here with us and I looking forward to seeing your Bird photography here and you might want to post some of your sports photos at our sister site: WPF

Thank you all for the very warm welcome. I have to admit that I am fascinated with what I have seen already. The knowledge here is outstanding and I sense that I can ask a few questions without feeling awkward because of my lack of knowledge. I do look forward to contributing some bird images...just as soon as I can figure out how. Again, my sincerest thanks for your warm welcomes.

Hola Franck and a warm welcome to Birdforum! :D
Hope to see some of your bird photos at the gallery soon.
