So it is possible that he really is born 1914. I have no idea about the middle name nor on the date of death.

Arturo P. Castro (b.1914) was a Filipino collector who was employed at the Philippines National Museum, , Manila (1941– 1949) and thereafter as a laboratory technician. He was on Hoogstraal's Chicago-Philippine expedition (1946–1947).

He accompanied a scientific expedition to Bataan with Dr GILLIARD ( see there ) . COLLECTING LOCALITIES.
