Bird in Extremadura, Spain, in November 2022 (1 Viewer)

Hi. My first thread creation, so I hope I'm in the right place.

When I took this photo in November 2022, I had thought it was a Black Redstart, however on my computer now, I can see that it isn't. (I confess I was mostly there to see the vultures and eagles) I've slightly raised the exposure of the second picture to try and show the feather detail.

I only saw one and this is quite a big crop.

Can anyone help ID it please?

@Butty thanks for the details. He really is quite beautiful with his iridescent colouring. I was searching for starlings in my Collins book and realised I was never going to find it on my own. Thanks again.
