Birding in Worcestershire (1 Viewer)

A 5 mile walk around the Wyre Forest today was fairly unproductive apart from a flyby Dipper, lots of Robins, Blue Tits, Coal Tits, flyover Siskin and a couple of Grey Wagtails. The only positive was that it didn’t rain!

On the way home we decided to call at Blackstone, Bewdley and we’re so glad we did as we found a Female Pied Flycatcher! It was such a surprise to see here and lovely watching her fly catching in front of us! We were going to walk further along the path however it was impassable without wellies!

Early morning Belne Brook Dipper at Belbroughton this week & a couple weeks back.
(Not seen a Dipper downstream since the start of August. Less Dippers/juveniles this year unless I missed them. Tricky to find due to the hidden parts of the brook).

Early morning Belne Brook Dipper at Belbroughton this week. Feedding, singing & then flew up the hidden brook.
My first Dipper first light for sometime further along the Belne Brook (D), feeding and then disappeared along the brook.
