Cedar Waxwing Call (1 Viewer)

I live in Chicago, and have hoped for some time now to see a cedar waxwing.

I believe I hear their "seeeeeee" call.

Is there another bird's call that I may be mistaking this for, or is the cedar's call pretty exclusive to them only?

I can't help you with your question but:

Cornell university makes an app called "BirdNET" that attempts to ID calls. It's far from 100% accurate, but it might give you some other suggestions of similar sounding calls to look out for.
