I'm traveling to Copenhagen in next month for a weekend. Main targets are Short-toed Treecreeper, Green Woodpecker and Middle Spotted Woody. What parks are good for these? Also interested for "plastic" species (if there are any) and rarities (naturally).

Middle spot is a real rarity in Denmark and I think Green Woodpecker only occurs in Jutland; I certainly never saw one in the five years I lived in Copenhagen. Short-toed Treecreeper can be found in the forest near Klampenborg station north of the city but Common Treecreeper also occurs there which makes for an interesting ID challenge.

For good autumn birding with more rarity potential I would consider travelling to Falsterbo in Southern Sweden which is easily done from Copenhagen. Rarity information for Denmark can be found via dofbasen.dk and for Sweden via artportalen.se.
