D7100 - Viewfinder/Monitor (1 Viewer)

For the sake of efficiency (and because it's much easier in bright conditions) I'd like to view the photos I've taken through the viewfinder and basically switch off the monitor for ever.

I've looked in the manual and done an internet search, but I can't find any info.

Can it be done?

In a word - no. In the viewfinder is a mirror reflecting the image made through the lens, no way to show the photos from the memory card.
