External dvd re-writer (1 Viewer)

I have an emprex external dvd + - r/rw writer 8x which came with nero6 softwear.The thing is that the softwear says that it will not run with my windows xp pro.Anyone know what other softwear that i could use.

hi gary, do you have an older version of nero already installed? If so, you should remove it (nero burn.exe or something in add/remove progs) then install the newer version.

Yeah, Nero 6 should work with windows XP. I have it installed. The only possible exception is if you have the 64 bit edition of Windows?

What messages does it give when you try to install?

The message that it gives is that there is a conflict between nero6 and windows xp.
