Hi all,

I think there was a VHS on gulls by Paul Doherty.
Anyone tried it or can recommend it ?
is there a DVD version ?

Thanks
Sassi

Hi Sassi!

I´ve got the VHS version, don´t know if there is a CD version of it.
It´s very good, lots of species/races although many species/races are treated rather superfichially and some with less quality fotage but on the whole, a good video, well worth having!

Even better-but in a N.American perspective, are the two gull videos Large and Small gulls of N. America, with a more knowledgeable text, by Jon Dunn and more usefull fotage.

Thanks all,

I found the North American set on DVD.
The other set by Paul Doherty and Bill Oddie
'Gulls. A Video Guide to the Gulls of Europe, Asia and North America' (2000)
I found only on VHS (Approx running time of 5hrs 30mins),
I emailed Paul Doherty and asked him if there is a DVD version.
