It's great to be back in Mallorca for a few days! I haven't been able to do as much birding as I'd have liked, but a trip to Sa Porassa in Magaluf was great, with Glossy Ibis, 2 Squacco Herons, a Black-crowned Night Heron, a Whitethroat and a Whinchat alongside the usual resident species and a 2 Teal still present.
Finca de Galatzo had a good number of migrants yesterday, including 2 Pied Flycatchers, 2 male Whinchats, Bee-eaters, Willow Warblers and a Garden Warbler. Also several Spotted Flycatchers that looked very much like the nominate race, and a great view of a Wryneck.
I went over to Salobrar this morning and had a brief view of the Lesser Flamingo in flight, along with great views of a Temminck's Stint and the Pectoral Sandpiper. Several Curlew Sandpipers, Ringed and Little Ringed Plovers and a swimming Water Rail were the other highlights there.
Es Capdella has been a little quiet, but there was a Golden Oriole calling on Friday and a Pied Flycatcher briefly in my Mum's garden.
