Panama - Bocas del Toro: Western Sandpiper? (1 Viewer)

Dear all,

I took these pictures at the Red Frog Beach on Isla Bastimentos (Bocas del Toro, Panama) on the 12th of August 2018.

I have absolutely no experience with these small American waders, but i´m pretty sure that my bird is either a Western Sandpiper or a Semipalmated Sandpiper, correct?
Because of the shape of the bill (long, drooped) I´m leaning towards Western Sandpiper...

What is your opinion?

Thanks in advance!
Mario
