Now they are different similar to Hi end astronomy lanthanum oculars.......a characteristic color there is no doubt.

The strong green cast is gone, a side by side comparison with older models shows the different clearly, the view is less muted more clean and fresh

Are you confirming the ocular exterior coating hue has changed and as a result, any perceived green cast when viewing is no longer there?
My x8 SFs certainly don't follow suit. Interesting.

I wonder here: don't Zeiss use to have that vinereadish coating color? I don't think I have ever seen a Zeiss with green coating.

Not a green coating, but many users have reported noticing a greenish cast when looking through them ( Zeiss ). Not something I've personally noticed in my FL or SF.

same here, the pics look the same as all other SF coatings to me. Astronomy eyepiece coatings appear in many different colors btw

It's also the same (to my eyes at least) as my very late s/n 8x3FL (2018).
