Saw this Plover whilst walking along the quay at Burnham Overy Staithe on Tuesday this week and I am unsure as to what sort of Plover it is ~ any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi Emma

I am sure that it is a Ringed Plover. I never realised that there quite a few Plovers to ID, and they do have similar markings too. :t:

Super picture to have, and keep, Emma. :t::-O

Thank you for your replies James, Kathy and Chris, they are appreciated! I thought the colouration of the Plover was too light for an 'adult' Ringed Plover so thank you for distinguishing its 'age' for me James!!:t:
