I can now confirm that thanks to the assistance received on the ID Forum (thanks Rockfowl !) that one of the warblers from last week was a Pale-Legged Leaf Warbler.
So this week (Sunday) I was all on my lonesome on my foray to my usual haunts (XYS and Nan Hui) not wanting to miss any of the increasing action (a Rufous Faced Warbler and a Golden Spectacled Warbler having been seen there last week - I was not so lucky as to see those would-be lifers though).
However I had fun being able to get down and dirty (camo in the grass) with my new exotically coloured lifer, spending 90 mins laying prone in the hope he would alight on the bough(s) I had designated as ideal for both of us
He however had other ideas and the nearest he came was twice as far away - except for one exciting foray, hover & dive, into the grass not 2 metres from where I was (hopefully) hidden.
Not that I was hidden from a passing family that decided I would make perfect subject matter for family & friends as they excitedly took photo after photo of me - pics that no doubt were then winging it's way to a thousand We Chat accounts and making me an instant faceless 'trend' !
Time spent with my new 'Lifer' meant no time to explore the usual 3 wading sites so species seen this week is down. First pic processed attached - more to come
