Well I ordered mine today, 48hr delivery, looking forward to having a scope again, I nearly went for the BTX version....but decided the zoom would be better suited for watching my local peregrines in there nest.

Well it’s here and it’s brilliant, can’t obviously show the quality when holding a phone to the lens....however the clarity and brightness is like nothing else.

I’ve never used an extender before, never had the need to
You probably didn't need a X115 also... ;)
It's true that the extender is useful for birds at big distances but is also "special" to use the 120x for seeing details of birds at close distance i.e. you are loosing fun not having it...😁

Loving it so far, been doing sea watching from the car yesterday and my usual local peregrines again today, there nest box is on the shaded side of the bridge but doesn’t matter when your scope pulls in light 😉

Gnat's nadgers. And the moons of Jupiter on a clear night I guess.
Congratulations salty on your new scope. You have a lovely coastline on which to use it.
