I took advantage of the Swarovski forum before my birthday/Xmas/early retirement gift to myself of NL 8x42s. I was prepared for items of concern (lens covers, rain guard, seam, etc…) so no surprises. I did compare in hand (store) to other Alphas and magnifications. I put in my order and sent my heavily used/old Vortex Viper 8x42s in for needed service.

I have been extremely pleased by the performance of the NLs so far.…for all of the reasons given in ”your” reviews. No issues to date with eyepiece, focus wheel, or glare.

For me, this was a big decision/purchase and I was aided tremendously by the Forum contributors/commentators. Thank you.

Congratulations on your choice of NL as a gift to your self, great choice for good reasons. After 6 months of NL use I enjoy mine daily, and could not be happier with them.
