If going to post every day, might as well put a shot of the day to entertain.

Here's mine - not taken today of course, but reflects the weather outside...

My random post to remind folks to limit the reply to one per day going forward. Please help spread the word on this.

Thanks

Tomorrow has come, its a cracking sunny day,
Yet I'm blown away, by the shenanigans yesterday....
I still reckon, it was the darndest thing,
A crested pigeon, washing under each wing!
But I can't help wondering, hope and pray,
How good it've looked, through my new Prime Zen-Ray

Now I should say, its not all as it seems,
I couldn't believe my own eyes, it was the stuff of dreams,
At first I thought, stoopid bl**dy pigeon - what have you done?
I'll have to run out in the rain, and spoil my fun,
Fer ya see this silly pigeon, was perched on a wire,
An old barbed fence, running through the mire,
At first I thought he was caught, his situation - dire,
A strange interruption, to raise my ire....

He didn't seem, to be in any great distress,
Infact it looked a bit like, - putting on a dress!
First he'd lift one wing overhead, before putting it down,
This crazy pigeon in the rain, with a smile - not a frown,
Then he'd pivot looking skyward, lifting the other wing,
Just add a cake of soap...., he'd be so happy to sing

I'd say if he had a brush, he'd have given 'em a scrub,
3 dozen neighbouring wood ducks; rub a dub dub!
He left quite an impression, the memory sure to remain,
Of that crazy crested pigeon, washing armpits in the rain!

Chosun :gh:
