Genus: Ianthocincla

Description

A genus which is not (yet) accepted by most authorities. If accepted it would contain eight or nine species:

They all have pale, usually white tips on at least the tertials and secondaries. Also bold white (on one case rusty) tips on the rectrices are shared.

Taxonomy

Ianthocincla is a genus in the Family Leiothrichidae.
This genus is commonly merged in the genus Garrulax.
