Hoopoe boxes (1 Viewer)

Up the boro!
Out here on the flats we have very few old trees so I think that this must be a limiting factor for hoopoes, so I´d be really keen to put up a box or two. Google doesn´t seem to turn up many links though, anyone know of links and/or the dimensions a box would have to be?

cheers

Hi Jamie,
In Extremadura the Power company put up boxes for Rollers -I would imagine a similar style would suit but with slightly smaller dimensions- who knows you might pull in Roller as well! ;) Try contacting Adenex they might be able to give you some advice: www.adenex.org
Cheers from the frosty north!
