Preston Peregrines (1 Viewer)

The ones that nest on the Church seem to have returned. Do not know if they are actively around the church but they are active around my works car park!!!

Daily sightings now but today at 7:30am was the best yet. Both male and female on show and the male soaring out and calling to the female.

For good sightings, stand with your back to the BMW garage near the docks and look at the large mast (luckily for me that mast is in the works car park) where they seem to perch. They vary in times but most mornings and late afternoons either are about.

Not seen them about, but I have seen an increase in Pigeon bones and feathers round the Pitt Street railway sidings. May just be coincidence tho.

Peregrines in Preston

We believe these peregrines have raised 3 chicks this year!! We looked out of our bedroom window Friday 6th July and saw the most magnificent sight.....3 birds whirling and swirling and making the most incredible noise screeching. Whilst we're absolutely thrilled :-O....are now worried for our garden birds :C
