Northern Cricket Frog, Acris crepitans (1 Viewer)

In most of the eastern U.S. there is a small treefrog that doesn't climb and sounds more like an insect than an amphibian. This creature is described in words and photos on the Web site for Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History, specifically at http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek050322.html

Yeah, same with snakes, and any other creepy crawlies. I am not fond of spiders, but tolerate them. Been bitten 5 times... not nice!!
