A right mixture

I'd been suffering from cabin fever with the awful dark days through most of November. When lo and behold the sun came out on the very last day.

So I hot-footed it (well drove that is) up the hills to see if I could find any winter visitors.

A large flock flew across the road in front of me; I found somewhere to park and walked back. Started snapping, as they were a bit distant to see properly. It turns out there were Starlings, Fieldfares and Redwing up in this tree.

That road runs parallel with the Glenshee road, which runs north/south and I'm sure it funnels the migrant birds through.

A wonderful scene, Delia! I like the way you captured everything here in focus including the far away hills.

Great group capture, Delia (I'm hoping to get to the reservoirs tomorrow... although there's more builders there than birds ATM ;) )
