About time
Usually the male and female show up with an immature. Hadn't seen one for the last couple of weeks and then it appeared.. Seems to be a young male hiding from dad. And where else but he Muscadine Vine

What a lovely image it makes - excellent work here lassie.
 
Like the angle very much, the plumage is really beautiful. Love the way you have caught him peeping between the trees.
 
Well, he's obviously not newly hatched, so he must have been playing hooky from your garden for some time. No wonder he's hiding from Dad ;)
