Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Open grass farm surrounded by agricultural fields at 74 m (243 ft) elevation.
Location
TriTex Grass Farm, northwest Bryan, Sims Lane Cut-Off, Brazos County, Texas, USA.

Yes, I thought so. However there was a flock of about 100 birds and the best I could tell none were in breeding plumage. Just when you think you know something, the rug gets pulled out from under you (lol). Cheers! Stanley
